It's hard to sell the American public on outright government censorship of the Internet. Cass Sunstein might have found a way to thread the needle, however, with his calls for a more thoroughgoing and democratic "citizenship."
What I find most remarkable about arguments like this one is not so much the gestures towards censorship as this talk about how "both sides should be heard." Breaking down this battle for airtime between Bill O'Reilly and Keith Olbermann, Coke and Pepsi, should be one of the primary goals of this website.
